The first masterpiece of the "popular trilogy", a classic of the most represented among the melodramas of the mid-800, marks the debut of Gustavo Dudamel La Scala in a Verdi opera on stage.
The direction of this new production of La Scala is carried out by Luc Bondy. Rigoletto also marks the return of Nino Machaidze (Gilda), and Vittorio Grigolo (The Duke of Mantua) after La Bohème, with George Gagnidze and Zeljko Lucic, already great Scarpia in the title role.
